Privacy Policy

Short version: the only information this website collects is what you type into the contact form, it is emailed to our office so we can answer you, and we do not sell it or hand it to anybody who is not working on your job.

The Basics

What this website collects

One thing: the contact form. When you fill it in, you give us your name, email address, phone number, the service address, the type of work you need and whatever you write in the message box. You also tick a box confirming you are happy for us to contact you about the request. That is the complete list, and every field is one you filled in yourself.

This site does not run advertising trackers, analytics scripts, social media pixels or session recording of any kind. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to. If that ever changes, this page changes with it before the change goes live.

How It Works

What we do with it

The form contents are emailed to our office so a person can read the request and get back to you. Nothing is stored in a database on this website. If your request becomes a job, the relevant details move into our ordinary business records: the work order, the invoice, the equipment we installed and its serial numbers, and the service history that a manufacturer will ask for if you ever make a warranty claim.

We do not sell your information, we do not rent it, and we do not pass it to marketing companies. It goes to the people who need it to do the work: our own technicians and office staff, and where a job genuinely requires it, a manufacturer for a warranty registration or claim, a utility program administrator for a rebate you have asked us to file, a lender if you have applied for financing, or the county when we pull a permit in your name. Each of those is because you asked for that specific thing.

What Matters

How long we keep it

An inquiry that does not turn into work sits in our email until it is cleared out in the normal course of business. Records tied to actual work stay longer on purpose, because they are the paper trail behind a warranty claim, a permit and an inspection, and they are the reason we can tell you what we installed at your house six years ago. Where the law sets a retention period for business or tax records, that governs.

In Practice

Your choices

Ask us and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct anything wrong, or delete what we are not required to keep. Call the office or email us and say what you want. There is no form to fill in and no account to log into.

If you would rather not use the form at all, call. The phone number is on every page of this site, and nothing about a phone call gets logged on this website.

Worth Knowing

Other sites and changes to this page

This site links out to places like Pepco, BGE, the Better Business Bureau, Google and manufacturer websites. Once you follow one of those links you are on somebody else's website under their policy, not ours. We have no control over what they collect.

If this policy changes we will update this page. Questions about any of it go to the office, and the phone number, email address and mailing address are on the contact page.

In Short

The short version.

  1. The contact form is the only thing on this site that collects information.
  2. No analytics, no advertising trackers, no pixels, no session recording.
  3. Form submissions are emailed to the office, not stored on this website.
  4. We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
  5. Details are shared only where a job needs it: manufacturer, utility rebate, lender, permit.
  6. Ask and we will tell you what we hold, correct it, or delete what we are not required to keep.
Questions
Asked and answered

Questions we get about this.

Does this website use cookies or tracking?

No advertising or analytics trackers, no pixels and no session recording. WordPress itself may set a functional cookie in limited situations, for example if somebody logs in to the administrator area, but nothing on the visitor side of this site tracks you or profiles you. That is why there is no cookie consent banner.

Will filling in the form put me on a mailing list?

No. The form exists so we can answer your request. We do not run a marketing list off it and we do not pass your details to anyone who does. If you want to hear from us about anything else, you would have to ask.

Who actually sees what I submit?

Our office staff and the technician assigned to your job. Beyond that, only where the work requires it: a manufacturer for warranty registration, a utility administrator for a rebate you asked us to file, a lender if you applied for financing, or the county on a permit. Each of those is a thing you asked for rather than something we do in the background.

How do I ask you to delete my information?

Call the office or send an email saying so. We will delete what we are not required to keep and tell you plainly what we have to retain and why, which is usually records tied to permitted work, warranties and tax. There is no account to close and no form to complete.
