Current Offers and Specials on Installation and Repair

We keep this simple. There are two offers, they are both real, and they are the only two we run. No countdown clock, no invented deadline, no price that goes up if you do not call today. Here is exactly what each one is and how to claim it when you book.

The Basics

The two offers we are running

The first is $150 off a new complete heating and cooling system installation. Complete means both halves of the system: the outdoor unit and the indoor unit replaced together as a matched pair, whether that is a furnace and air conditioner, a heat pump and air handler, or a ductless system with its indoor heads. It applies to the installation and it comes off the quoted price, so you see it on the proposal rather than waiting for it to arrive later. Limit one per household, and it does not stack with our other offer.

The second is 10% off any HVAC repair for military members and senior citizens. Any repair means any repair, not a short list of eligible services, and it applies to a straightforward service call the same way it applies to a larger job. Active duty, reserve and veterans all count on the military side. This one is also limited to one per household, which in practice means it does not stack on top of the installation discount on the same job.

How It Works

How to claim an offer

Mention it when you book. That is the whole process. There is no coupon code to type in, nothing to print out, and nothing to hand to the technician at the door. Tell the person taking your call which offer applies, or note it on the form when you request service, and it gets attached to the job before the work is written up. For the military and senior discount, the technician may ask to see identification on site, and that is the only verification step involved anywhere in this.

Timing matters more than paperwork does. Claim the offer at booking or at the quote, before the invoice is finalized. Once a job has been closed out and paid, going back to reprice it is a headache for everyone involved and sometimes cannot be done at all. If an expiration date is shown alongside an offer, that is the date the offer runs through, and the date you book is the date that counts. If you are not sure whether your job qualifies, ask before the work starts rather than after.

What Matters

Financing is available on installations

Replacing a system is rarely a purchase anyone planned for, especially when the old one quit in the middle of a July heat wave or during a January cold snap. Financing is available on installations, which means the project can be paid over time instead of in one hit. It is a separate arrangement from the $150 offer, and taking financing does not remove the discount or affect it in any way. We can walk through what is available when we quote, and you are free to use your own lender or a home equity line instead if the terms come out better for you.

Two things are worth knowing before you apply anywhere, with us or with anyone else. Approved financing usually depends on credit, so the terms you are offered may differ from the headline terms in an advertisement, and the honest answer to what your rate will be is that nobody knows until you apply. And a longer term lowers the monthly payment while raising what the equipment costs you in total. Neither of those is a reason to avoid financing on a system that has already failed, but both are worth a minute of arithmetic before you sign anything.

In Practice

Rebates and the federal credit stack separately

Our offers are ours. Utility rebates are not, and they are evaluated by the utility under its own rules, so they do not compete with the $150 off. The no combining rule on our offers means you cannot stack two Home Comfort Air Services discounts on the same job. It has nothing to do with a Pepco or BGE residential rebate or a Washington Gas offering, and neither is affected by taking our discount.

On a qualifying system replacement, all of it can run alongside each other. Our installation discount comes off the quote up front, and a utility rebate is claimed after the install and processed by the utility for the year the system is placed in service. We participate in the BGE and Pepco residential rebate programs and will tell you what your equipment is in range for. Current rebate amounts and qualifying equipment get confirmed at the time of quote, because those change and we are not going to guess.

Worth Knowing

We do not run fake urgency

You will not find a countdown timer on this site, a banner claiming the offer ends at midnight, or a price that mysteriously drops the moment you look like you are about to close the tab. Those tactics work, which is exactly why we do not use them. They push people into a decision about a piece of equipment that will sit in their house for fifteen years or more, and a decision made under a deadline somebody invented is the decision people end up regretting.

Our offers are standing offers. If one of them ends or changes, this page changes with it, and the version you are reading is the current version. When we say a quote is good for a period of time, that is because equipment and material pricing genuinely moves, not because we are trying to hurry you into signing. Take the time to get a second quote on a system replacement. A homeowner who compares two proposals side by side and understands both of them is a better customer for us, not a worse one.

The Detail

What the offers do not cover

Worth saying plainly, so nothing is a surprise when the invoice shows up. The $150 applies to a complete heating and cooling system installation, not to replacing one half of a system on its own, and not to a repair. The repair discount applies to repair work, not to a new system installation. Neither offer applies to a maintenance plan, and neither can be combined with the other or with any other offer we happen to be running. It is one offer per customer, applied to one job.

If your situation does not fit neatly into either description, ask when you book rather than assuming one way or the other. A system replacement that also includes ductwork, a repair that turns into a replacement partway through the visit, a second property in your name: those come up regularly and we will tell you straight what applies. We would rather settle it at the quote stage than have a disagreement over an invoice later, which is the same reason these limits are written here in normal type instead of in small print at the bottom of the site.

In Short

The short version.

  1. $150 off a new complete heating and cooling system installation.
  2. 10% off any HVAC repair for military members and senior citizens.
  3. Limit one per household, and the offers do not stack with each other.
  4. Mention the offer when you book, before the invoice is written up.
  5. Utility rebates are separate from our offers and stack with them.
  6. Financing is available on installations and does not cancel the discount.
Questions
Asked and answered

Questions we get about this.

How do I claim the $150 off my installation?

Mention it when you book, or when we come out to quote the job. We attach it to the work order and it comes off the quoted price, so you see it on the proposal instead of waiting for money to come back later. There is no code and nothing to print. The only thing that causes trouble is raising it after the invoice has been finalized.

What counts as a complete heating and cooling system?

Both halves replaced together as a matched pair. That means a furnace and air conditioner, a heat pump and its air handler, or a ductless system with its outdoor unit and indoor heads. Replacing only the outdoor condenser and keeping the old indoor coil is not a complete system, and it is usually a poor idea anyway, since a mismatched pair rarely reaches its rated efficiency.

Can my spouse book separately to use the offer twice?

No. It is one offer per customer, and that means per household rather than per name on the invoice. We are not going to make a production out of enforcing it, but the rule is written that way so the offer stays fair and can keep running. If you genuinely have a second property, tell us at booking and we will tell you what applies to it.

What proof do you need for the military or senior discount?

A military ID, a VA card or discharge paperwork on the military side, and any standard identification showing your age on the senior side. The technician can check it on site. We do not need copies and we are not keeping documents on file. It covers active duty, reserve and veterans, and it applies to any HVAC repair rather than a limited list of services.

Does the repair discount apply on an emergency night call?

The repair discount applies to repair work, including after hours, with the same one per customer limit. Emergency and after hours rates are separate from the discount and still apply where they apply, so the discount reduces the total rather than erasing the after hours difference. Ask when you call so it is attached to the job from the start.

Do these offers work with a Pepco or BGE rebate?

Yes. The no combining rule applies to our own offers, not to programs run by other organizations. A utility rebate is claimed from the utility after the install and processed by them. The federal Section 25C credit ended after 2025. Our discount comes off the quote. Those are three separate things and they do not cancel each other out.

Is there a catch with the financing?

No catch, but read the terms before you sign. Financing on installations runs through a lender, approval depends on credit, and the rate and term you are offered depend on that. A longer term means a smaller monthly payment and a higher total cost. Taking financing does not affect your eligibility for the $150 off or for a utility rebate.

Why do you not run limited time countdown sales?

Because a heating and cooling system lasts fifteen years or more, and nobody should choose one under a manufactured deadline. Countdown timers and discounts that disappear at midnight are designed to stop you from getting a second quote, which is exactly the thing you should be doing on a purchase this size. Our offers stand, and this page shows the current version of them.
